Any old person between the age of 60 years and 69 years can take the Senior Citizen Red Carpet health insurance plan. Pre-insurance medical test is not required to take this insurance. The minimum amount that can be insured in this plan is Rs. 1, 00,000 for which the premium is Rs. 4,908. The maximum amount that can be insured is Rs. 2, 00,000 for which the premium is Rs. 9,326.

Policy Coverage:

The policy also offers post-hospitalization cover.

Exclusions:

Senior Citizens Red Carpet does not cover any expenses incurred for treatment of illness/disease/sickness contracted by the insured person during the first 30 days from the commencement date of the policy. This policy does not cover the cost of treatment for certain diseases such as hernia, piles, sinusitis, etc., during the first year, and for certain diseases such as hysterectomy, cataract, joint/knee replacement surgery during the first two-year.
